WOOP

everything is going to be an expensive piece of shit if you don't stop looking at dealers

I was only looking at craigslist. Maybe I should cast a broader net.

Are you saying if I do look at dealers things wont be expensive shit or if I don't they...

um.

I looked at an impreza for the same as the vitara cost and it was a pile. $3k for rotting fenders and trailing arm mounts.

If I find a decent OBS for not $$rape$$ money, i'll consider that.

I'm pretty sure you were talking about your cherokee when you told me I shouldn't get one.

<3

I'm pretty much sold on the idea of replacing this once I start getting paychecks so now this thread is about a vehicle that I should get to replace the vag-tera.

I really want something smallish and 4wd that gets reasonable MPGs. Basically what I've already got only something that won't break if I drive it like a retard.

I'm pretty sure the govt used it to transport Don Adams from his Hollywod trailer to his legit CIA training facility.

Shit posting; Reported.

You know who reports go to, right? LOLOL DGAF.

We need to make "report" say "butthurt" and have an animation involving /Dev/null....

After you click "butthurt" you have a choice between hard mad and just a little pissed.

It's like a jeep liberty but instead of a shit motor you have a driveline that explodes. And is Japanese.

yeah pretty much. Also it's smaller and has a 5 speed instead of an auto.

It's a little bit shorter than a forester but about the same height.

I'm still keeping my eyes out for a rusted up grand vitara to get the front axle from.

Through all the shitboxes I've had this is probably the nicest. Working A/C and radio, cleanish interior and up until recently (when it caused my front diff to shit its guts out) the 4wd was pretty good.

It doesn't handle quite as well as my mazda did but then again my mazda was a bit lower to the ground. The rack and pinion steering feels more like a passenger car than a 4x4 and the coil springs in the front take the New England frost heaves in stride.

The Aluminum diff parts and the auto locking front hubs are somewhat dubious design features in my opinion.

Some cold looking cars.

for some reason it vaguely reminds me of the elantra wagon I used to have because it's silver and has a fender dent in the exact same spot.
