Mullet Mobile: 1980 Chevy El Camino
« on: February 25, 2014, 10:23:32 AM »

This here is my 5th gen G Body Chevrolet El Camino. Note the sweet Ford hubcaps.

Originally had a 305 with a turbo 350, now has the original 350 turbo transmission with a B&M shift kit/clutch pack behind a 383 stroker built by a race shop in Phoenix that does a lot of offshore race boat engines (Frontier Race Engines for those who wanna know). Exhaust is a 50 state legal set of Hooker shorty headers (With A.I.R. System!) blowing back into a 3" stainless X pipe out to dual removable 2.5" out mufflers (nice and quiet).

Its all about the business in the front and party in the back.

Interior still needs work, but the headliner is pristine (I'm only the 2nd owner!)

Bonus shot of our ghetto livery (not shown: 3SGTE MR2)

By my rough calculations this El Camino should be capable of a burnout that would last 3.2 miles.
